Service & Booking Terms

These Service & Booking Terms (“Terms”) set out the basis on which Textured Interiors Ltd provides bespoke carpentry, specialised plaster, decorating and related services to you. They apply to all quotes, bookings and projects unless we agree otherwise in writing.

By accepting a quote, paying a deposit or confirming a booking, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

1.1 We are Textured Interiors Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a painting, decorating and interiors business based in London, United Kingdom, cover nationwide.

2. Our Services

2.1 We provide bespoke carpentry, specialised plaster and decorating services. Other related services, which may include:

  • Venetian / Marble / Micro Cement Plaster;

  • Decorating services;

  • Carpentry and panelling;

  • Media walls;

  • Stretched Ceilings;

  • Textured finishes and specialist coatings;

  • CAD and 3D rendering for design and planning.

 

2.2 The exact services we will provide for you will be set out in your written quote or service agreement (“Agreement”).

2.3 Any images, descriptions or prices on our website or social media are for general guidance only and do not form part of the Agreement unless we confirm this in writing.

3. Quotes and Estimates

3.1 We will usually provide a written quote or estimate based on the information you give us and/or a site visit.

3.2 Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for [30] days from the date of issue.

3.3 Quotes are based on:

  • The condition of the property as seen or described; and

  • The scope of work agreed at the time of quoting.

3.4 If, after work begins, we discover issues that could not reasonably have been known at the time of quoting (for example, damp, structural problems, hidden damage, asbestos, or extra preparation needed), we will:

  • Inform you as soon as possible; and

  • Discuss any changes to price, timing or scope before proceeding.

 

3.5 Any changes you request to the agreed scope of work may result in an updated quote or additional charges.

4. Day Rates and Design Services

4.1 Where we work on a day-rate basis, our standard day rate for painting and decorating starts from £349.99 per day, including basic materials such as fillers, caulk, masking tape and standard white paint, unless stated otherwise in your Agreement.

4.2 Bespoke 3D rendering and CAD design services start from £20 per image, or from £100 for a package of 20 images, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.3 Any additional or premium materials (for example, specialist paints, wallpapers, bespoke finishes or high-end fixtures) will be charged separately as agreed with you.

5. Booking, Deposits and Payments

5.1 To secure a booking, we may require a deposit, which will be set out in your quote or Agreement.

5.2 Unless we agree otherwise in writing:

  • A deposit of 50% is payable to confirm the booking; (unless you pay for a installation included online then booking is automatically secured in the next 2-6 weeks ).

  • Interim payments may be required for longer projects; and

  • The final balance is due on completion of the work.

 

5.3 Payments can be made by [bank transfer / card / other accepted methods]. Details will be provided on your invoice.

5.4 If payment is not received by the due date, we may:

  • Charge interest on overdue amounts at 5% per month (or the maximum rate permitted by law); and/or

  • Suspend or stop work until payment is made.

 

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

6.1 If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, you must contact us as soon as possible using the contact details above.

6.2 Unless we agree otherwise in writing, our standard cancellation terms are:

  • More than 14 days before the start date: full refund of any deposit paid;

  • [7–14] days before the start date: [50]% of the deposit may be retained;

  • Less than [7] days before the start date: we may retain up to [100]% of the deposit and charge for any materials already purchased.

 

6.3 If we need to cancel or reschedule due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (for example, illness, extreme weather, supply issues or access problems), we will:

  • Inform you as soon as reasonably possible; and

  • Offer an alternative date or a refund of any deposit for work not yet carried out.

 

7. Access, Parking and Site Conditions

7.1 You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed times, including:

  • Clear access to the areas to be worked on;

  • Adequate lighting and power;

  • Any necessary keys, codes or instructions.

 

7.2 You are responsible for arranging suitable parking or permits where required. Any parking charges or fines incurred due to lack of permits or instructions may be added to your invoice.

7.3 You must inform us of any known hazards or issues at the property, such as:

  • Damp, leaks or structural problems;

  • Asbestos or suspected asbestos;

  • Electrical or plumbing issues;

  • Any other health and safety risks.

 

7.4 We may refuse to start or continue work if we believe the site is unsafe or unsuitable. In such cases, we will discuss options with you and may need to revise the quote or schedule.

8. Your Responsibilities

8.1 Before work begins, you are responsible for:

  • Removing or safely storing valuables, fragile items and small personal belongings from the work area;

  • Informing us of any items that require special care;

  • Ensuring pets and children are kept away from the work area for safety reasons.

 

8.2 We will take reasonable care to protect your property, including using dust sheets and coverings where appropriate. However, some dust, noise and disruption are unavoidable during decorating works.

8.3 We are not responsible for normal wear and tear or minor cosmetic marks that may occur as part of the preparation and decorating process.

9. Materials and Finishes

9.1 Unless otherwise agreed, we will supply all basic materials needed to complete the work, such as fillers, caulk, standard trade paints and sundries.

9.2 If you request specific brands, colours or finishes, we will use reasonable efforts to obtain them. Any additional cost will be agreed with you in advance.

9.3 Colour and finish may vary slightly from samples or digital images due to lighting, surface conditions and application methods. We recommend testing colours on site before final selection.

10. Completion, Snagging and Guarantees

10.1 When we consider the work to be substantially complete, we will invite you to inspect it.

10.2 You should notify us of any reasonable snagging items (minor defects or touch-ups) within [7] days of completion. We will arrange a suitable time to return and address these.

10.3 We aim to provide high-quality workmanship. Any guarantees or warranties for our work, including their duration and scope, will be set out in your Agreement.

10.4 Our guarantees do not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, impact or failure to maintain surfaces;

  • Issues arising from underlying structural or damp problems;

  • Normal wear and tear over time.

 

11. Liability

 

11.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

  • Any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law.

 

11.2 Subject to clause 11.1, our total liability to you for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with our services will be limited to the total amount you have paid us for the relevant project.

11.3 We will not be liable for:

  • Any loss of profit, business, revenue or goodwill;

  • Any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

 

12. Complaints

12.1 If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us as soon as possible using the details above so we can try to resolve the issue.

12.2 We will review your complaint and respond within a reasonable time, setting out any steps we propose to take.

13. Governing Law

13.1 These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or our services, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

13.2 The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising from or related to these Terms or our services.
